Telecommunications
(Networks) Consolidation Department required a Project Manager, Business Analyst and Technical Writer with the expertise,
knowledge, skills and abilities to analyse the economics and various integration strategies when deploying Enterprise Wireless
LAN Provisioning & Support Services throughout the government of Canada, particularly within existing Wired LAN locations
and
in greenfield (new) environments.
Role Description: Developing a Business Case to analyse the
economics and various integration options when deploying new Enterprise Wireless LAN Provisioning & Support Services along
with existing Wired LANs. And analyse the economics and various integration options when deploying new enterprise Wireless LAN
Provisioning & Support Services in greenfield (new) environments
1. Review whether departments augment but not replace wired connections or remove all
Wired LANs and replace with Wireless LAN; 2. Review whether departments should never consider Wired LANs at all and install
only Wireless LANs or whether departments continue with the strategy of coexisting Wireless LANs along with Wired LANs; 3.
Manage the creation of a Business Case to study the integration strategies when deploying Enterprise Wireless LAN Provisioning
& Support Services; 4. Provide an economic justification for the necessary resources and expenditures required by
this Statement of Work.
